Dr. Olabisi Omolara Asimolowo, MD

I spent over a year trying to locate a doctor who specializes in nerves of the face. For the past 5 years, I have suffered from atypical facial pain since skull-base tumor removal in the same area. Dr Asimolowo was willing to explain and perform the SubraOrbital Nerve Block on both sides of my forehead. Procedure went well and I have excellent pain relief.

Dr olabisi referred me to an mri. When I decided not to go to an mri facility that is linked to the summit medical group, she refused to give my insurance company any details about her referral and my insurance company denied my coverage for an mri. Dr olabisi blatantly ignored my insurance company’s request for a peer to peer so they can approve coverage. Beware! When dr olabisi’s medical assistant doesn’t want to be bothered by you, she hangs up the phone in your face. I’ve never encountered this kind of behaviour from a medical facility and such lack or respect or decency towards a patient. On top of it all- her diagnoses of my back pain was way way off!

Dr. Asimolowo helped me through the most difficult time of my life. I was suffering from 4 different kinds of pain, and she helped me conquer them all. She takes a conservative and sequential approach, but trust her, she really knows what she is doing. Her caring and compassionate personality helped me as much as the pain relief. I got quick appointments, as needed, and was never kept waiting more than a few minutes.

Very satisfied with her attention to detail in helping me through a difficult situation.
