Dr. Oliver T Bernhardt, DO

Dr. Bernhardt took me on as a patient, changed up all of my medications and dosages, then didn't even stick around long enough to arrive at a successful new treatment plan for my relatively simple conditions. Instead, he dumped me via a letter without warning, advance notice, or any reason. I am left with no provider, worsening conditions, and concerning side effects - at a time that locating one whose practice is not full is no small feat.

Very cold and distant. If you struggle with suicidality, don’t come here. He’ll just push you off to the side to let someone else take care of your problem. It’s beyond me how his practice still exists. After he sent me an email telling me he could no longer treat me, he didn’t even leave me with a way to get a refill. I was completely out when he dropped me as a patient.

He cares about your needs and tries to make your life easier. He is a very personable doctor with honest work ethic. He answered my phone call personally and immediately scheduled an appointment when I had so much trouble finding a doctor willing to see my fiancé at the time we moved to Austin.
