I spent the majority of my appointment being lectured and when I did get my pelvic it was excruciatingly painful. I've never had pain in a pelvic before this one and I urinated blood three days afterward.

As a resident, I feel it's important for doctors to hear honest feedback in hopes that they may work to improve. After being treated by Dr. Johnson I left feeling worse than before I came in. Dr. Johnson has a very uncaring bedside manner. In fact, she has no bedside manner at all. She provided very vague, sometimes contradictive instructions for at-home care, and gave me a less-than-thorough exam. I did not feel I was given the time I deserved and felt belittled by the attitude she gave me when I asked questions (she actually told me to calm down when I became frustrated with her inadequacy). Thankfully the nurse on duty stayed with me after Dr. Johnson left to provide actual, useful information in a kind way. If she hadnt been there I would not have gotten anything out of my appointment. Ive been treated by many physicians at Christiana hospital and have been very happy with my care. My visit with Dr. Johnson was the first negative experience.
