Dr Otakar Hubschmann I doubt you remember me but 31 years ago today you operated on me inserting a shunt in my head. I am truly grateful to both you and to Dr. William McGuire who sent me to you. Dr. McGuire knew right away what was wrong and you came highly recommended by Dr. McGuire. Sadly as you know Dr. McGuire passed away in January 1993. I hope all is well with you and your family.

Two lengthy spine surgeries (15 hrs) so grateful. Almost all hospital staff I met throughout process praised the golden hands of Dr. Hubschmann who operated in them, family member, etc. I knew I was in great hands.

Dr. Hubschman operated on me 29 years ago for herniated disc in my back. I have never had subsequent back problems. He is awesome in my opinion!

Very knowledgeable about his profession he made me feel so comfortable after seeing how he actuallu cared about me as a paient he explained everything in great detail to me about my surgery he didn't leave me in the dark about anything I couldn't have picked a better doctor to help me

Dr. Hubschmann is a life saver. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that needs spinal surgery. He and his staff are amazing. I can now live my life without the severe pain I had before my surgery.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Hubschmann for any spine surgery. He is well educated and explains the risks and benefits to having the surgery in clear terms. After the surgery he was always available to answer questions and to help with the pain and discomfort. He and his team were there 24/7.

Had complications from spinal fusion 2014 & was ignored by his residents & dr.Hubschmann. I was told the excruciating pain that I went thru was normal & nothing was wrong! New doc found hardware to be loose & mobile & it was in my spinal canal leading to permanent nerve damage & permanent foot drop. My life is RUINED! I CAN'T WORK BECAUSE OF HIM & DR. KOZIOL.

Drs. Hubschmann and Koziol were meticulous with my nine hour surgery. I am extremely grateful to them for the wonderful outcome despite my very challenging case. Top notch professionals.

Several years ago I was told that I might have a brain tumor. I went to Dr Hubschmann for an opinion. He told me to come back in a month. Meantime I didn't want to wait so sought out another dr for an opinion. Mind you my mom had just died of a brain tumor a few years before. Well, when I went back to Dr Hubschmann after the month and told him I sought out another opinion and decided to stick with him...he got so angry at me for doing that and stood up from his chair and screamed at me to get out of his office and go elsewhere. Meanwhile I still didn't know if I had a tumor or not. I will never forget how terribly he treated me and threw me out of his office just for seeking another opinion. He yelled loudly and I was so upset. I had to go to another dr. Thank God I found out I didn't now have a tumor. But I will never forgot how badly he treated me, throwing me out of his office. No dr ever did that to me.
