Dr. Parysa Parvizian, Ph.D.

I have known Dr. Parysa Parvizian since 1996 through the UC Irvine cognitive sciences undergraduate department.  She has always been focused and passionate in helping those with trauma, both civilians and military. As an elementary school teacher, I collaborated with Dr. Parvizian to have her dialogue with my students about self-esteem. Since then, we have had ongoing mutual psychology consults about my students and her clients on a variety of expertise topics.

Dr. Parysa Parvizian, Ph.D., is a seasoned, compassionate clinician with extensive expertise in many clinical domains and modalities. I have known Dr. Parvizian since 2012, working in close proximity in private practice in the same office building for several years. I have confidently referred clients to Dr. Parvizian and regularly participate with her in monthly clinical consultation meetings focused on providing effective treatment and optimal clinical outcomes. We share similar backgrounds in training and education, both matriculating from graduate programs at the California School of Professional Psychology, further galvanizing confidence in the clinical skill and cultural competence that we both approach our clinical practice with.

Dr. Parysa Parvizian is an exemplary psychologist on so many levels. I have known Dr. Parvizian for over 20 years and I have had the honor of learning so much from her and having many clinical consultations with her. I can confidently say that her care and compassion for her patients, as well as her ethics and professionalism in her field, is of the highest levels I have seen.
