Dr. Patrick Neil Smith, MD

Dr Smith did my back surgery a few yrs back, what he has done is kinda ruined me for other Drs, his personality is such that you look forward to seeing him and he makes you feel like he is looking forward to seeing you.. Sorry but that has made it difficult for me to deal with other surgeons that I need ... Could he may be give a class on bedside manner???? Not only was his surgery a great success and I flew thru it but he made me feel I wanted to do well for him.. thank you Dr Patrick Smith I truly applaud you....

I warred with myself on whether or not to write this review. I have never written a review anywhere, but I think people should know what they are getting into. Mine was not necessarily a failed surgery but an incomplete one. 2 levels were fused when 3 should have been addressed during the surgery. A last minute decision to not do 3 levels the morning of the surgery. Shortly after the surgery, I continued to report pain. Went through many doctors, and various medicines to help what was thought to be a delayed recovery from surgery or fibromyalgia. 2 MRIs and many months later, I finally discontinued care with Dr. Smith and am now under the care of another surgeon. My issues have become worse with every day. New surgeon will go in for a second surgery to fuse the third level, remove and replace old hardware. I am not even out 1 year from the original surgery.

It cannot get any better than this. Thanks for caring through this difficult phase. One of the best doctors out there.

Great doc!! Sharp, skilled. And compassionate. Involved me in my health care! Love his smile and humor. Had spinal fusion. .Recovered well.

Dr. Smith was fantastic. He has seen several members of my family, including one of my children, and I would not go anywhere else.

I have never been so impressed with an organization as I have with 3 rivers. #1 is Dr Patrick Smith I just love his personality that is so caring and he always has such a big grin when he comes in (thank U for that) I did remarkable well under his care, evan tho I drove him nuts doing to much I felt wonderful.. The office personell, fantastic, never waited more than 10 min x-rays in dr at the door within 10 min WHO DOES THAT nobody in this valley... Thank U all see U in 6 months

I've had spinal issues for almost 20 years. Dr. Smith has performed surgery, but only after all other options have failed. He fully explained what would be involved and what the end result would be. Dr. Smith is extremely caring and is very concerned about the patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone that was in need of a doctor for back or neck problems.

I have seen a lot of doctors about my back problem(s) over the last 25+ years since they started, but Pat treats every patient with sincerity, and levels with you. His recommendations are for the betterment of your health, not his finances. I trust him whole-heartedly that what he decides to recommend my treatment(s) should be, they are for the best. I have recommended him to family and friends, and would do the same to anyone who has back problems.
