Dr. Patrick Strong

Patrick Strong is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. Patrick currently enjoys helping young adults to seniors address schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related struggles.Patrick completed his Master's degree in Education St. Bonaventure University-Allegany. He utilizes multiple approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), person-centered (PCT), and solutions-focused (SFT) approaches to treatment. As a younger counselor, Patrick worked with teenage gang members addressing ongoing life struggles working on leading more productive lives, in addition to many other projects. He has provided services in the community setting, working with teens, families and school districts to improve outcomes. Later, he helped develop community-based programs servicing the adult populations in rural areas of New York. We all go through challenges in life's …journey.
