Dr. Patrick James Van Winkle, MD

I was born and have lived in Orange County my entire life, except for a year I lived in England and my three years of medical training in Los Angeles. I have been married for 10 years and have three beautiful children. My wife and I have been involved in medical missions work for the past 10 years and have had the opportunity to travel to numerous countries. We also are involved in work with children who are orphans, both locally and abroad. We love this work and consider it a blessing to be able to work with these children. With our own children, we enjoy being involved in our local church, camping, exercising, and spending time with our extended family. My path to becoming a doctor had two main influences. First, I had cancer when I was a child and feel connected to children with chronic diseases. Second, my mother was a nurse for 40 years, and thus I grew up with her example.
