Dr. Paul Ramon Delbusto, MD

After 6 months still no diagnosis from him and he uses his own lab places not LCMH, making me think he doesn't seem to trust the hospital. Very friendly and knowledgeable but doesn't tell everything in one visits and schedules visits very far apart, like 2 to 3 months. Not open to questions and is never quite sure what's going on. Not happy. Not going back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Delbusto for some time now and I have the utmost confidence in his ability to treat my multiple conditions. He is ALWAYS very courteous and is extremly intelligent in his field. I had been to other doctors who could not figure out my condition but Dr Delbusto was able to get it right. I have NEVER had to wait long when I arrived for my visit and the staff was friendly and helpful

I cannot recommend Dr. Delbusto based on my experience. He was nice, at first. But, didn't treat me with respect and even insulted me, repeatedly. Every time I explained to him how much I struggle, he told me I was making excuses. If you have Fibromyalgia and are looking for a doctor who will be compassionate, knowledgable and actually listen to you, do not waste your time or money on him. Those of us who have this dreaded illness, need doctors who will listen & know what they're talking about. We've been through enough. No one deserves to be bullied into complying with a doctors' treatment plan. It's my body & I know what's it's been through and I will decide which treatment to try next. Doctors are their to listen, diagnose and recommend treatment. Some of them forget that they work for the patient. Tje patient always has the right to decide what to do with their own body. The last thing a doctor should tell a chronic pain patient is that they're making excuses or not trying hard… enough. Especially when they work a full time job. I'm a human being, not a robot. I was surprised to be treated like that based on the reviews I read prior to my appointment. Not happy.

I've seen Dr. DelBusto several times to diagnose some life-long problems I've had with body pain. I researched Rheumatologists before I made the decision to try him. His staff has been so nice, and the woman (Laura?) spent a lot of time on the phone with me before I even met the doctor. So far we don't have a complete diagnosis, but I felt like I was in very good hands. He is very intelligent and even the lady down stairs who checked me in for an XRay said, "That doctor really knows his stuff, if anyone can find what's wrong with someone, it's him". That made me feel good. I have never waited more than a few minutes to see him at my appointments, and he spends enough time with me. I am pleased with my choice so far.

Haven't seen this Dr in years but when I did my experience with him was exceptional. Thinking about returning.

The doctor is very knowledgable and accurate with his diagnosis. He is always on time and runs a tight ship. However, he can be arrogant and challenging when trying to get answers about your condition. He is very sure of himself, which can be an advantage for your medical condition, or at times a detriment to the patient who does not know enough about their condition. He clearly has a plan for each disease and he does not want to be questioned about his plan and does not share his long term plan with you. He needs to show a more compassionate side in dealing with his patients.

Very intelligent. Thorough. Really cares about patient's well being. Will return for follow up visits. I have complete trust and faith in this doctor. It is rare to find a doctor who truly listens and he listens very attentively. He also checked my medical records, x-rays, etc. thoroughly. I have faith that I will get better under his care.

I have seen four Reumatoligist and he really knows his field. if he can't help you I don't think anyone can. his staff are terrific . I know he really cares..

Dr. Del Busto is an excellent caring Doctor. I have never had a doctor who made sure to spend the time making sure you understand and if you have any questions. He makes you feel like you are his only patient at that time which is unusual since most are trying to get you out as quickly as possible.
