Dr. Paul David Haver, MD

Dr. Haver is skilled and compassionate. Experienced enough that he can venture "outside his lane", but knows when a specialty referral is needed.

My daughter is shy and has anxiety. We have seen numerous doctors in Athens, and Dr. Haver is the best. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping my daughter. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Haver.

I have been a patient of Dr. Haver's for 21 years and have never been displeased with any experience at this office. These doctors are knowledgeable and approachable. I highly recommend Great Athens Physicians.

There's one in the front office who can be less than cordial. Sometimes the wait in the examining room can grow overly long.

Dr. Haver is that rare breed today of a compassionate, caring family doctor!

This Doctor has no loyalty to his patients. I was his patient for 26 years and we always had a good relationship. He recently dismissed me as a patient due to my travelling for work. He did so by certified letter, despite knowing that I would not receive the letter as I was out of the country. When I returned to Athens, out of medications that he had perscribed, he refused to see me or even return my phone calls, leaving me without crucial medications for over a week until I could get an appoinment with a new doctor.

Accurately diagnosed a problem with my toe that another specialist misdiagnosed three times. Dr. Haver is an excellent doctor in my view. Sometimes you have to wait a bit, but that is to be expected in most clinical settings.

i have not used dr haver for ten years. i have moved away. while looking for a pediatrician i came across this site. the whole time wishing to find a review or comment that says this is one to check out. if you are like me and need somone to say dr haver is the one. then look no ferther. i was one of dr havers first pacients. after another doctor got tierd of listnen to my long winded story of what brought me to the doctors office in the first place. sorry the doctors cant fix the way i tell a story. ha ha. dr haver listened to my story and fond that it helped to diagnose my problem. he then became my famliy dr. he has not only helped me. he has done this for all of my family and friends. dr haver has helped my grandmother who was on 7-10 types of meds. down to 3. that was over ten years ago and she is 85 today. dr haver also listned to my sister you went to see him after being treated by two other doctors for an ear infection. dr haver realized it may be something else. he sent her… for a mri the next day. they found a brain tumor. which was removed the next day. she lost some hair and some feeling on her rt side, but that was 1990. she now has three beautiful boys. when they are sleeping. ha ha. dr haver has been good to my family and friends that i recomended over the years. i only hope to find a pidiatritian in tx. as good as he is.
