Dr. Paul Healy, MD

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Healy. We have found him to be a doctor that leaves no stone unturned to get to the facts about your health. His concerns for both your physical and mental well being is so reassuring. After 67 years I can say without hesitation he is the best doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Healy is excellent doctor. However his staff is not. They are more into talking and joking around with each other than being concerned about the patient. Dr. Healy has always been a caring and understanding doctor. He has always found out what my sickness or problem was and directed it according to any other doctors that he feels I need to seeat if any. His staff does not treat him with a professional demeanor that a doctor of his profession should be treated what I see when I come in. He deserves a much better staff.

Of all doctors I've visited, non seem more willing to discuss/explain and not rush you out. YET, today's medicine will be forcing him, as most others, to do more faster and the heck with better. Always seems abreast of trials, current recommendations, etc. and willing to recommend alternate or traditional medicine as appropriate. Does risk analysis and if a KNOWN medicine addresses the problem, stick with it and avoid the unknown, top $, and unknown side affects. Unfortunately with todays monopoly and the local hospital buying out MANY practices he is no longer seeing patients in the hospital, instead you are forced to see a hospital specialist who doesn't know you, what you think, what you want, etc. Welcome to the world of individuals don't count and should be replaced by robots. He doesn't seem to like this any more than I do, but this is "modern" medicine! Why should a patient in the hospital expect to see/have anyone they are comfortable with; patient be darned, efficiency… most reign (and yet the costs are out of site!). Some day we'll have a different justice department and a couple lawsuits will hopefully stop all these local monopolies from taking over.

I have been under Dr. Healy's care for about 6 years and have the utmost respect for him. He takes the time to answer all my questions without rushing me. He is doing everything, as far as tests and referrals so I can get answers. I have 100% trust in him. I feel today It is rare to get a doctor that you believe in.

Dr. Healy actually listens to you. When I leave his office I feel as though I was treated like a person with respect and concern for my overall health. Great Doctor.
