Dr. Paul Michael Lombardi, MD

Having been in physical therapy for six months for my hip and knee and researched area surgeons’ credentials I kept hearing constant praise for Dr. Lombardi from fellow patients. I went and was very impressed by his friendly, direct manner and concise explanations of the replacement and post surgery information. I plan to use him for my hip and knee surgery and know I made the right choice.

Dr Lombardi is professional, knowledgeable and just a great doctor. He knows exactly what he is doing, has great expertise/knowledge on where to place the injection and has a great feel/ manner with the patient. Could not ask for more!

Dr. Lombardi has done both my left and right hip replacements (separately) and I have to say he and his staff were wonderful both times. I met 2 other surgeons before meeting Dr. Lombardi and felt I was in good hands with him since he was the only doctor who took his time asking pertinent questions and actually getting to know my history. Before, during and after your surgery he and his staff are there for you! You are in good hands!

The great and magical Dr.Lombardi did my hip and then bilateral knees. I chose him based on his resume and would never go to anyone else. I have had the ease of recovery because of him. Walked up 15 steps to my room the day after my surgery, and was walking without a cane week 2- He’s amazing!! Thank you Dr.Lombardi!

Excellent in all aspects of orthopedic care and surgery

Dr. Lombardi is like a son to us. He replaced my husband’s first hip 30 years ago and there has been no trouble or wear on it. Dr. Lombardi replaced his second hip about 10 years ago and Rick could ski or do whatever he wanted the next day. I see Dr. Lombardi now for my knees. We no longer live in Mendham but in Bay Head and I would not ever consider seeing anyone but Paul. He is not only a skilled surgeon but a kind man. One of his staff had a son interested in the United States Naval Academy so Paul contacted my USNA alumni husband for help. Jayshon Dubose is now a graduating standout senior at USNA who will enter the United States Marines in June. We love Paul Lombardi!

Found office and support staff very courteous and efficient. I explained my problems to Dr Lombardi and he gave me through examination and suggested that I have a MRI done before we went any further so that would be able to more precisely determine a solution to my needs.

I have known Dr Lombardi for about 18 years. He is honest and wants to do what is best for the patient so much so that he once got on the phone during my visit to reach a doctor who was treating me in NY city and one he didn't want me to leave. Now I will never leave him. I had two hip replacements and he has given me multiple knee injections for arthritis. I have never had an appointment where he was unable to help me. He is kind, very quiet but easy to talk to. I have recommended him to many of my friends and we are all doing just great all thanks to a wonderful doctor named Paul Lombardi.
