Amie Taylor Author hes extremely blunt and isnt for the weak-hearted or sensitive natured soul. you have to submit yourself to his guidance and shut off your own want to protest his opinions. he is harsh and not for people who dont appreciate the value of "tough love". He got my life back on track and i am nothing but thankful for all hes done for me through 5 years now spent seeing him consistently. He is an amazing genius and truly cares about the best for you and wants you to be better. ive gotten mad and walked out of his office before because he got on my case about my reliance on my dad for support and told me "he isnt gonna be around forever". in the moment i was disgusted and never wanted to go back to his office but i realized later he just wants me to be strong and take control of my life. he respects my alternative lifestyle, use of eastern medicine/ holistic treatments, has helped me out when ive been broke and cant afford meds, and never gave up on me even though he said i… had one of the worst cases of borderline hed ever seen and i continued to have allergic reactions/no reaction to the meds, went back to jail, have had my ups and downs, he never gave up on me and has really shown hes proud of me.

I have been seeing Dr. Markovitz for 3 years. He is amazing!! My 1st appointment I told him I didn't want Xanax or any narcotics. "I didn't want an addictive band-aide, I wanted to get better and if that was going to be a problem, I find someone else". He looked at me and smiled and said "you and I are going to get along just fine". True to his word, I am better and I'm not a prescription drug addict??. He is amazingly knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. If it we're possible to give a 100 or more stars, I would. He literally saved my life. And his assistant, Kate...the best!!! She's a 100 plus stars as well.

Run quick! Fast away from this so called “doctor”. Doctor Paul should be thrown in jail. He ruined my life with his insidious and debilitating “ treatment plans”. He thinks of patients as lab rats, experimenting with polydrugging dangerous psych drugs to see what drug will destroy your life the most, and hope you keep coming back to his office visits so he can charge your insurance. Told me my brain would die, completely denied that his prescribing is torturous abuse. Disgusting that this Person is hurting so many people. Please stop this charlatan!!

No wonder he makes a practice of poly-drugging patients and making it very difficult for them to withdraw from the drugs he pushes. It took me 8 months of horrible withdrawals and no support from him to get off these drugs. Run far from him. The danger is real.

Criticized my psychologist as "full of S**t, for applying CBT therapy" and told me "I think you are a piece of sh**, and will end up dead or in jail without meds" then Dr. Markowitz wrote me 4 simultaneous Rx's for ADHD, Mood Stabilizer, Anti-Depressent, and Anti-Anxiety at twice the recommended dose for each. I'm much better off now. For sure he's Arrogant & full of himself. The final straw, unsolicited comments about my girlfriend and privately communicated with my parents.
