Dr. Paul Mcintosh, MD

I met Dr. McIntosh in 2012. He caught my son's pneumonia before anyone else. He is kind, patient, and doesn't make me feel like my concerns are not important. He is now the doctor for all my kids. Everyone of them enjoy him as a doctor. He really is Great!!

We love Dr. McIntosh. He has taken care of our children since they were born. He picked up on a heart murmur that the hospital had missed and got our daughter into cardiology quickly. He calls back after hours and is always checking in on our family. We do have to wait some times but I know it is because he is taking care of someone. He always gives us the time we need and we appreciate his willingness to answer all of our questions!

when we first met doc Mackintosh our son, then 5years old felt very good about seeing as did we the parents, he is great with children, he explain everything he answers all your questions. when it comes to treating your children he treats them like they was his own, doc Mackintosh has changed offices, we are following him.

We love Mr. Mac! He is always willing to discuss any concern and makes us feel like the most important people in the office. He always puts us at ease. He has personally called us back which I have never had another doctor do before. He truly cares and is a great doctor.

When my 3-yr. old met Dr. McIntosh he instantly loved him. This was my first positive sign and there were so many more to follow. His thoroughness and time spent with us (with both our children) is unmatched by anyone we've seen thus far. My daughter experienced high fevers at 3 months and he suggested we check for urinary reflux and he was spot on! Catching that early is so important, and I credit him with her current, excellent health.

It is honestly a little scary to trust your childrens' health to a new doctor! I was a little nervous when moved to a new area and got new insurance. We have a variety of chronic health conditions in our family and I wanted someone who could treat all of them. I called in to the office and explained a problem I was having. The receptionist (who is soo amazing by the way!!) recommended that I see Dr. McIntosh as she thought his personality would be a good fit. He was! My daughter needed some stitches removed. In the ER it had taken 3-4 adults to hold her down. He calmly and smoothly took them out with no one holding her. He is treated all my kids now and has been amazing with all of them as well as kind to me. We recommend him to everyone!

We love Dr. McIntosh. He always spends as much time as we need with each visit. He is also willing to talk to you over the phone which is better than many doctors we have had in the past. He is a genuine guy who really cares about our children. He also picked up on my child's wheezing that other doctors had missed for months!! We highly recommend him to everyone!

Dr. McIntosh has been absolutely wonderful with all of my children. We have a big family and he is always willing to squeeze us in when everyone is sick. He is busy but always makes us feel like we are the only patients there. He has called us at home multiple days to check in with us which really shows that he cares about his patients. If you call and leave a message for him, he will also call you back directly which is so nice. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the Fredericksburg area.
