Great surgeon, cool customer. He is all business and the business he performs is fantastic. Surgeon's don't need to coddle you, they need to perform....and he does!

I recently had cervical surgery performed by neurosurgeon Dr. Paul Sawin (ACDF & Posterior Cervical Fusion C3-C6). I was impressed right out of the gate. I am a physician recruiter and have 30+ yrs. experience working in the healthcare field. I did a thorough investigation of his background before my first visit. I knew within the first 5 minutes of speaking with Dr. Sawin that HE was the neurosurgeon I would trust my life with. I have been 100% pleased with my decision. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled in complex cervical surgery & reconstruction. His staff was also top-notch. My questions were addressed before I even had to ask. I recommend him without hesitation. Thank you Dr. Sawin and team!

I was very impressed with Dr. Sawin! I have not had surgery done, because he was honest and said if he was in my shoes (with my current symptoms) he wouldn't. I really appreciate a specialist who gives an honest opinion rather than the opinion that will inflate his wallet. Highly recommend you talk with him.

Doctor Sawin and his entire staff including the team in both offices have always treated me with such amazing care from day one when I first came in for my consultation. Doctor Sawin takes his time with you and goes over from What causing to what’s the solution and I am a witness to it. Under Doctor Sawin care I have received nothing but great care he just did a lumbar infusion (ALI) for my messed up L15 S1. I am so satisfied with his service that I wanted to give him some credit on here and will be updating it as time for recovery goes on overall experience is one of a kind for sure including the team !!!

The entire office from doctor on down has an ego greater then TRUMP!!

Dr. Sawin did surgery on my mom's back about 15 years ago fused 3 of her lower discs then years later fused two more above that. My mom is in no pain to this day. Dr. Sawin did surgery on me and put a stainless steel artificial disc C5 C6. I had relatively no pain or discomfort not even post-surgical pain. I did very well and would use Dr Sawin again.

I'm surprised at many comments in the negative about Dr Sawin & team. I've been seeing him for many years and he's done multiple surgeries on my spine. Yes spinal surgery can be scarey but I am never afraid with Dr Sawin. Good God I trust him with my life. He is a deeply caring man who has the most extraordinary skills. He is a trauma surgeon as well. Some days he is dead on his feet but he's still there to see the patients he cares so much about. Lisa is a professional and the best of the best. Can people have off days? Sure. Can an exhausted doctor be confused with a rude or non caring doctor. Sure. I've seen Dr Sawin bright eyed and I've seen him exhausted from being called to do emergency surgery on trauma cases - he still keeps appointments with his patients. Sometimes we patients need to be a little kinder as well. This type of surgery is extremely detailed and long no matter what is needed. No one is going to convince those of us who trust our lives to Dr Sawin… that he is a non caring human with poor bedside manner. He is the best of the best and as such he is incredibly in demand by the hospitals he is on staff with. I've never had a more caring, skilled, kind doctor in my life! That goes for his team. Lisa is a professional and a busy one. If you know how busy Dr Sawin is then you know how busy Lisa is. It's not a conveyor belt system but it is a very very busy practice and the amount of patients they see is quite something. I see Dr Sawin almost every visit after surgeries unless it's not warranted or he has an emergency. I can not say enough about Dr Sawin, Lisa, Nancy or any of his team. Truly they are a blessing and I've got no problem if I see Lisa when it's necessary nor do I have a problem waiting a bit for my appointment. In 15 years that hasn't happened very often at all I can tell you that. They are a gift to me. Dr Sawin has fixed multiple issues and we are going in for a big one soon. I trust him more than any other doctor. I've found over the years what a kind compassionate warm big hearted human he is. Patients need to be kind to the doctors too. We need to say when someone, doctor or not, does good work or great work. We shouldn't take for granted someone is unkind because maybe they're tired or maybe there is nothing further they can do. Every day I wake up and yes there's pain but it's less thanks to Dr Sawin and as life, it's just my new norm. I don't let it define me. Thank you Dr Sawin, Lisa, Nancy for your constant kindness over the years. This is long over due. Blessings

Very cold arrogant

I've seen Dr. Sawin over the past 15 years for 4different surgeries. He always takes his time to explain each procedure and what the expected outcome will be. I have no qualms about having any surgery he recommends. My first surgery was thoracic (T10-12); the Jewett Clinic sent me to Dr. Sawin because they "wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole"! I knew right then if the Jewett Clinic recommended him he had to be good, he's not good....he's fantastic!

Dr. Sawin operated on me almost 2 yrs ago. I definitely recommend him to anyone needing any type of spine surgery. Some people are good at what they do because they study and work hard, others are great at what they do because they have a natural ability and love for what they do and that is Dr. Sawin
