Dr. Paul S Stein, MD

Dr Stein did surgery on me in 1990 on C-5 C-6 fusion. My experience was good and 25 yrs later i'm happy to say i still think he was a great Dr.

He asked questions and never let me finish answering the question. He did the majority of the exam while sitting in his chair. He was completely uncaring and his report to WC judge was inaccurate and lies.Very lazy, uncaring physician, shouldn't be used by the WC court system completely unfair to injured employees!!!

I had 3 visits with Dr. Stein. Each time I waited 20-30 minutes beyond my appointment time. The examination he gave amounted to almost nothing. The next visit was in his personal office, he said he couldn't make up his mind what to do. I asked him to refer me to another doctor. He said he would but I'd need to come see him afterward. When I came in the 3rd time I told him what the referral doctor said. Stein said that's what I should do.His receptionist was slow, crude and kept yelling at a girl working with her.

I was sent to his office for a workers comp evaluation by their insurance company. He treated me like I was lying about my symptoms. After my appointment, he didn't even contact me with his findings. I believe he is paid by workers comp insurance companies for his statements that nothing is wrong with you. After almost 2 years of pain and neurological problems, I am grateful that I have found a neurosurgeon that cares about me and knows what to do to help my symptoms. Please don't waste your time going to see this man. I don't think he cares about his patients!

Horrible Dr. Doesn't care about patients. To fat to get out of his chair.

I was there for a work comp issue, work comp made the appt for me. It was not my choice. He is obviously paid by the insurance company after reading his letter to them about the appointment I had with him. I did not recognize the person that he was describing. I was to call back and report to him, but he has not called me back. The work comp nurse was in the office talking to him about me, before I was dressed and ready to leave the office. He certainly talked to her more than he talked to me. I was offered no explanation after the exam from him, and only learned in the letter to the insurance company about a possible procedure that could be tried.

Worst Dr. apt I have ever had.

Dr. Stein misdiagnosed me and now I am paralized. He does not listen to you and your symptons. I got a second opinion,luckily, but it was too late. If Dr. Stein would have done his job right and did a proper exam on me I would not be in this situation. HE DOES NOT LISTEN!!!! I do not know if it is his age but he needs to retire before anyone else pays for his mistakes.
