Dr. Paul Richard Steinwachs, MD

Dr. Steinwachs does not have good bedside manner. He has too many people working in the office since he has taken over another doctors practice. His wife is now running the office and she is very rude and disrespectful, especially to people with low income insurance. They can NEVER get the billing right. I always receive an invoice after I have been there and all I am supposed to pay is a copay. I have remained with this practice for this long because I LOVE LOVE LOVE his PA, Annalese and the nurses. If I have a choice, I NEVER choose to see Dr. Steinwachs.

I would have never expected such a competent and well respected physician to make the comment "if you are unhappy with how we do things, you are welcomed to find another office" in an attempt to cover his HORRIBLE staff who did not like being asked to practice hand hygiene in front of a patient's parents. In healthcare, this is a very reasonable request.

I thought that the new office staff would be friendly, since taking over Dr. Cohen's practice. The front office staff is very rude. Will not adjust schedule at all to see my child. I attempted to resolve the issue with the office manager, but that didn't help at all. She over talked me the entire conversation, made excuses for her staff's rude behavior. She also told me that she would get my files and send them to a different doctor. I've never seen such poor costumer service before in my life. I'm in the health care professions and has always made it my business to keep the costumer happy. I would not recommend that office to anyone.

Dr.Steinwachs is such a great doctor. He goes the extra mile to make sure that everybody understands what is going on. He always tells you what is about to happen . So no surprises that would scare your child

The staff is rude and anytime you ask questions they act as if it is an annoyance to them. The office manager which is the Dr.'s wife is just as rude. If you attempt to complain, they will keep you from the Doctor and refer you to the PA. The PA should open her own practice as her bedside manor is superb, she makes the kids feel comfortable and puts the parents at ease.

I love Dr. Steinwachs! He has been my child's Dr. since her first check up at 1 week old. She is now 9. In the past I have also loved his office staff, but lately the receptionist has been very impersonal and rude on more than one occasion. I hate this because Dr. Steinwachs is an amazing Dr!

I love Dr. Steinwachs and his PA Annalise! They really help with my son. During the flu season they said not to bring him in with an ear infection. They offered to come to my house and check him out to keep from giving him the flu! You do not find doctors like that very often! Both are very efficient and thorough when they check and diagnose problems! I will continue using Dr. S and Annalise until my son is 18!

Dr. Steinwachs is an overall excellent Doctor. He is very caring, will take all the time with you that you need, he will make sure you understand anything that concerns your child. He remembers his patients so you don't feel like he is meeting you for the first time everytime you go in there. He is really good with children, and goes the extra mile not to cause his patients to be affraid of him. He practices on a personal level with the children and the parents. He is also very prompt at returning calls.
