This is simply a rude, horrible, and ignorant old woman. Stay away from her unless you want to be abused.

Dr. Sawhney is a horrible doctor. Since I am hearing impaired, a sign language interpreter is always at my appointments. She would not even look me at the eye. She talks to the interpreter "tell her this n' that." She makes incorrect diagnosis the whole time. Never sits down and listens. Instead she just writes up prescriptions BEFORE I enter in her office - like she does not care. Terrible relationship between doctor and patient. I cannot believe she still has her medical license to serve patients. I would not be surprised she broke a lot of rules. Only went for one year and abruptly stopped after I brought my mother. Dr. Sawhney treated her with DISRESPECT

this has to be the most unprofessional, idiotic doctor I've ever come across. She makes assumptions that are not true; she insults you; tells you you are over the hill; etc. She should be stripped of her medical license if she has one.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sawhney's for 20 years. She started seeing me for my epilepsy, then for the bulging disc in my back, and for my pinched nerve. She is caring and has made two special visits on her own time to see me in the hospital as a result of two separate seizures, one of which was two hours after I had my son. She has always been supportive in my life endeavors and is always concerned about my sleep habits and any pain I am dealing with. She was my saving grace with my back and because she is married to my primary care doctor, she makes sure she keeps an eye on me both ways since I can be hard headed and don't always follow doctor's orders. For epilepsy she is one of the best doctors I have ever had, but she has also watched me grow from a teenager, to an adult, and now a mother. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Sawhney is a terrible physician. At my 1st visit, she did not even examine me. Prior to reviewing my file, she told me my main problem was that I was too fat (even though I have severe thyroid issue that effects my weight). When discussing my situation, my husband asked a question. She told him to shut up and listen. She also told him that he had a personality where no one liked him. She is rude and has a complete lack of compassion. At all of my following visits, she was filling out my prescriptions before I even sat down in the chair. She refused to discuss how I was feeling at all of my following visits, even though I had recently been diagnosed with additional medical probelems from my rheumotologist, neurologist, and cardiologist. Again, she attributed all of my problems to being too fat. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. I can't believe she is even allowed to practice medicine.

She will fix each problem individually, one at a time and doesn't tell you to relax and take anxiety medicine.

Dr. is very straight forward and to the point if you are looking for a Dr. to just be nice and kind and give you what you want find another Dr. She is accurate but if wrong on something always will work with you but do not demand or try to tell her your illness SHE IS THE DR.!! I have used her for 7 years and my father has also. Dr. Sawhney knows her stuff she just tells the truth!

This woman is unforgiveably rude, as well as unprofessional. I saw her for herniated discs when I was 56. I am a ph.d. working in D.C. She said "you are over the hill' nowIdiotic would as he have said this to the Chief Justice? I mentioned my father and she said, "well, he's not in the picture now he's dead." She had no business declaring something untrue. My father is alive. I strongly recommend anyone considering a neurologist to avoid her.
