Dr. Pedro Enrique Monserrate, MD

Very bad experience with Dr. Monserrate, 3 hours late, locked up in a little room waiting for him, spent 1 min. then just left. The entire office is disorganized, employees are sloppy looking, doesn't seem to care about the people,. Doesn't return calls- This outfit should not be taking care of people. The Dr. needs to be trained in appropriate behaviour, and the office needs a supervisor who is capable of running a professional facility.

Dr is a Moron. Needs to go back to whatever 3rd world country he came from.

I've been having moderate to severe knee pain on the right side of my knee. It has been going numb and feels like a knife going through my knee. This has been ongoing for a month. I'm not one to usually write reviews about doctors, let alone bad ones. But this was by far one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. After waiting nearly two weeks to see this guy, he spent no more than 5 minutes in the room with me. 2-3 of those minutes consisted of me telling him my problems. The other 1-2 minutes he pressed around my knee, bent it back and forth and told me it was just a small sprain and wrote me a topical prescription to rub on it. My insurance (BCBS) did not cover the $400 dollar cream. Nor could I afford it or even waste my money on this before having an X-ray or MRI. He did not tell me I needed to have a follow up appointment. I had to request an MRI. When I did have the MRI and the follow up appointment, again he spent about 5 minutes in the room telling me I had a small tear in… my acl, a small tear in my mcl and severe arthritis around my knee cap and acl. He gave me a cortisone shot and walked out of the room and had his nurse do the rest. He didn't tell me what I could do for it. I asked him what I could do long term and he shook his head and said "nothing" then said good luck and walked out of the room. I have never felt so bad in my life. I would not recommend this guy to anybody.

Poor bedside manors! Put a shot in my knee said I was good sqrewed me over with work comp because he was my second doctor! Never worked for me only lined his pocket! My leg is caving and he's a jurk!

Professional. Charming. Compassionate. Great office staff. I would recommend Dr. Monserrate to anyone who has an orthopedic problem or condition.

Impressive! This man knows what he's talking about. Very professional, funny, knowledgeable. I'm so glad that I was referred to his office. I wish I had found him sooner. And did I mention how attractive this doctor is??? OMG!!! I fell in love the moment he opened the door and we made eye contact and I heard that unbelievable dreamy accent. I thought he was God's gift to me, for just 15 minutes. I spent the entire visit trying to think of a reason why I was going to have to come back and see him again. Can't wait for my next visit.
