Dr. Peter Steven Lepse, MD

The Dr. has very little bedside manner. He is to the point and matter of fact. It is just his personality. He is not mean or uncaring, just gruff and abrupt. However, he knows what he is doing and does an excellent job medically. If I have to go back, I will chose him every time if he is available.

I felt put off by this doctor. I'd tell him about the pain in my shoulder keeping me up at night and then he'd ask if I had pain at night. I felt like he didn't want to be there. His assistant, PA and the office staff were wonderful. I definitely won't be going back to him.

Dr. Lepse left a lasting impression with my 6-year old daughter! She is now 27 and Dr. Lepse was just amazing. She had broken her arm above the elbow and was rushed to Topeka. Dr. Lepse took hours to adjust her arm using pins instead of making a large incision. He took the time to visit with her and make her and us as comfortable as the situation allowed. She is now a beautiful professional woman with 2 tiny scars above her elbow. The extra hours he took and his wonderful bedside manner was and still is still very much appreciated!

I had a situation that Dr Lepse didn't feel comfortable with and he told me that. Then referred me to the only Dr he wanted to treat me. Dr Lepse has both knees to one extent or another and I trust his judgement. I really appreciate his honesty etc. I would certainly let him take care of my next injury.
