Dr. Peter William Macintosh, MD

Waiting 3 months for this guy to know nothing and not have the patience for me. Thanks UI health. Literally tried to foist me back to the referring doctor.

After 3 months wait he hurried me out of his clinic by pretending he couldn't get the CT he needed without my last doctor. Also very much misrepresented himself to the search engines that think he knows oculoplastic surgery - assistant warned me immediately he doesn't do that stuff. Couldn't get his needle thing into my eye without 50 tries and a lie that this won't hurt. Lastly, was literally looking things up on his phone while contradicting every doctor since I was 3. Not encouraging.

I been seeing this Doctor since last year. I feel the Doctor was in a rush, he didn't have a great amount of interest to the my eye problem, and alway say the tests came back normal I don't know what the problem. This Doctor wanted to ask me about my mental health.What does mental health have to do with my eye problem. I still can't see will without my glasses. Another thing I want to the doctor to check my eye after my husband( no worry I'm divorcing my husband and there's a protection order on him) hit me in the eye. This Doctor didn't care, didn't even check eye. Another Doctor wanted him to do a hereditary check and even care to do what the other doctor asked him do. I had better care with Doctor Wright than I had with this doctor.

This doctor is one of the rudest, most condescending and uncaring people I’ve ever met. It’s bad enough the wait to see this poor excuse for a doctor was over 3 hours, but then to have him come in and act like he was rushed-looking at his watch-, and then tells me he doesn’t know what the problem is-with total attitude!! He had not one care about an eye problem I’ve been experiencing for months. I think a total stranger could have been able to provide more care than Dr. Rotten Apple did. What a colossal waste!

Today was my third visit to Dr. Macintosh with my mother and every experience was beyond pleasant. He took the time to listen to our concerns and was genuinely interested in my mother's wellbeing. I would definitely recommend and look forward to future interactions!

The attitude on this guy is unbelievable. He had zero interest in listening to me. Was actually sighing out loud and going through the motions asking me why I was there. "Beats me doc your own colleague from your own center sent me". He scribbled some orders and walked out. I went through about another hour of test and never heard from anyone again. I ended up moving and Mass eye and ear had me diagnosed and in the hospital in 1 day. Needed surgery and meds.

Dr. MacInstosh was extremely condescending and made me feel as though I was wasting his time. He questioned me about my mental health in an interrogative way about things completely unrelated to my reason for being there. He was completely insensitive.
