While Dr McKay is a very good technician, I find him to be aloof. I have waited as long as 2 hours to be seen by him AFTER the tec does all the testing. Once he comes into the exam exam room he spends about 10 minutes. At my last appointment there were 3 other people waiting to see him and their appointments were 1 hour before mine. Time to shop around.

Dr McKay has been the first eye exam I have had that has actually helped me! I have worn glasses all my life and have never received an accurate prescription until today. My last eye doctor gave me a script that was so off I thought I had degenerative disease but Dr McKay confirmed I was ok which was a great relief to me! The exam and consultation was so thorough I would not hesitate to have him do my laser surgery in future. He explains everything in detail and is very communicative and personable while staying professional. The staff is great and courteous and the facility in Norwich is impressive. I have found my forever doctor!
