Dr. Peter Gregory Whang, MD

Pretty nice guy but didn't seem too interested in listening to me about my symptoms. Told me that there was no connection between the neck problem and ear related symptoms I have been experiencing , which all happened to be in the same problematic area. I only had been dealing with this for over a decade and have had time to make my own observations and connections. his words went completely against what I have learned doing my own research, what I've been told by the countless therapists, chiropractors, Orthopaedic drs. And other neurosurgeons. He told me straight out there was no connection and it didn't make sense? What doesn't make sense to me is that there is a muscle called the SCM muscle and it goes right up behind the ear and it's attached to the neck and he quickly dismisses it. Very disappointing visit. I guess I should have known better than to ask a doctor about a muscle related problem.(?) Thanks for nothing doc. Not a direction to lead me either. Felt like I was wasting… his time.. I hate doctors that talk down to me...waste of gas..

I had two back surgeries with continued leg pain I had to get a second opinion because the issue wasn't addressed and required another back surgery I suffered greatly for over 7 years because the ectopic bone was crushing nerve root. For quality of life issues I required removal of ectopic bone and fixation device which took less than 3 hours done again by yet another doctor. It should have been removed a long time ago..

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Whang. He is a miracle worker. His surgery skills are the best I have ever witnessed. The office staff is great, they return my calls promptly and will call back if they cannot answer my questions immediately. His nurse, Carolina is patient, courteous, and seems to be able to do anything.

All I can say he is one of the best surgeons around. He gave great results after surgery also.

Dr Whang is the best! He takes his time with you and really takes an interest in you and your medical issues. I am more than pleased with the service he provides. He helped me with my neck pain that i endured for years.

Dr Whang is the best Dr I've ever had. Everything about him from bedside manner to knowledge of my condition was amazing. My follow up care has been wonderful and I'm pain free after 4 years of being out of work.

Had recent surgery and follow up with surgeon.

I have seen Dr. Whang for 2 surgeries now. He is very thorough, and let's you decide the treatment. Does not force surgery on you. I highly recommend him as a spine surgeon.
