Haven't been here yet but I am really tempted to cancel my appointment based on my interactions with the "staff" that answers the phone/sets up appointments for this doctor. I was referred to Dr. Ilagan by my emergency room doctor after being treated for intractable migraine. After calling to set up appointment and being put on hold at least four times by a very unprofessional staff member, I finally got an appointment set up for two weeks later-- nowhere close to the "within a week" written on the order from my ER doctor. Well, okay. An hour later I see an odd number on my phone, look it up, and see that it's the doctor's other office. I call them and the girl (also very unprofessional) asks me whether I want an EEG (??)from the shoulders up or for the whole body? I have no idea.. I say I was treated for migraine, so I'm guessing just the shoulders up, but ask the ER doctor, he would know better than I would!! So she puts me on hold again, after a long pause, finally comes back and… rather angrily tells me that "there's no EEG (?) in my chart anyway, I'm just supposed to come in for a consult with the doctor!" I say I have no idea what I'm supposed to come in for, I was just referred by the ER doctor. She says, "Well do you still want this appointment?" I say "I guess so". Yikes!!! So today I had to call and reschedule due to a scheduling conflict... I called the doctor's office number... Someone answers and drops the phone, picks it back up and says, "Hello?" Hello?!? I say, "Is this a doctor's office?" "Neurology Dr. Somebody else." she says. Oh... okay.... What is going on here?! I am really not thrilled about putting my brain in these people's hands!!! Scary.

Worst interaction with a Dr I have ever had. Most arrogant and belittling Dr I have ever dealt with had to draw information out of him and he acted like our questions were below him to take the time to answer them. Was disrespectful towards the nurse that was attending my appointment with me because she did not properly introduce herself upon his entry into the room. His words. I would never recom recommend this person to anyone and will be seeking a 2nd opinion as I do not trust his diginosis

Overall the best neurologist for diagnosis of types of migraine headaches and treatment for them. I highly reccomend him for anyone looking for a good neurologist. Most of all, I wished he was still in pennsylvania where I could still have him as my neurologist.
