Dr. Phabillia Afflack, MD

Dr. Afflack was my OB for my first child. I would highly recommend her as she is an incredibly skilled, intelligent, but most importantly kind and caring physician. I’ve never had a doctor care about me as much as she has. I didn’t feel like I had to stand firm on my birth plan the day of as she was my advocate just as much as my husband was. She’s incredibly responsive and even after birth has been quick to respond to my postpartum needs.

I went to see Dr. Afflack who is an extremely nice person (and everyone in her office was also extremely nice!). I live out of the country where birth control is not subsidized and was told I would receive a prescription for several months' worth of my new medication. Two weeks passed and the office never called the prescription in, despite the fact that I called them four times and spoke to people in the office each time. I am now about to leave the country and will have to pay out of pocket for my birth control, despite the fact that I had an appointment with Dr. Afflack well in advance of leaving so that this wouldn't happen. I hate to think what would happen if I really needed my medication urgently -- this was a terrible experience and I will not be returning.

Dr. Afflack is incredibly caring and focused. Whenever we have an appointment, she makes me feel like I’m her only patient. And, she has a true joy for her work; after the birth of our daughter, she led us all in singing “Happy Birthday”, which she does at every delivery. She fully supported my vision of an all-natural pregnancy and delivery, and helped to make everything safe, and healthy.

Very caring, wonderful Doctor. I was extreme,y impressed and more than satisfied.

The office staff makes you wait up to 30 minutes on the phone to set up an appointment. The doctor is amazingly good but unreliable. Never there when you need her.

Dr. Afflack is compassionate regarding a patient's situation, and offers the best solution to concerns. She devotes her full, undivided attention for each visit, and offers feasible methods of following up with her. By far the best GYN Doctor I have encountered. (I change GYN regularly)....I am sticking with her!
