Dr. Philantha Suehwa Kon, MD

Dr. Kon is cold, condescending and brief. She is however quick to push follow-up appointments and tack on extra fees to her already exorbitant rates.

Dr. Kon is quite rude and all about business. If all you want is a prescription and you don't mind dealing with her attitude to get it then she is efficient.

She does nothing she claims to do on her web site. There is NO mind body and soul work. She is a horrible, way over-priced doctor. She prescribed the same medicine my son had last year that didn't agree with him. She knew this. Again it didn't agree with him. I called her immediately and she said I needed to come right in with my son. She charged me $400.00 for the visit to tell me to stop the medicine. That was it. I told her I already did that. She had no other suggestions. Nothing! She also charges about 700.00 for initial visit. She does absolutely nothing a regular pediatrician would do for a $30.00 co-pay. Do not let her web site fool you! It did me and all I got out of it was a several thousand dollar bill.

Dr. Kon is wonderful. She is understanding, compassionate, and great at listening. Her intelligence and experience somehow make her more relatable. She's highly qualified and personable. I saw her for six years; she is unquestionably the best psychiatrist I've met.

Dr. Kon is great! She doesn't push meds and is smart, easy to talk to, and thoughtful in her approach. I like the advice she gives on living a healthier lifestyle which has made a huge difference for me!

Dr. Kon is amazing! She is thoughtful and patient. She isn't critical or confrontational in any way. After many years of mediocre psychiatrists, I'm very thankful to have found Dr. Kon. She is thorough, caring, and exceedingly intelligent. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Kon was my doctor when I was in UCLA for treatment. She was the most amazing doctor I've ever worked with. She was so caring and respectful. She treated me as a person rather than a mere patient...She even brought me Diddy Riese cookies :) She is going to go far in life.
