Dr. Philip A. Adelman, MD

He was so rude to me and dismissed my friend’s concerns because she had a ‘strong accent’! He hung up the phone on me. I wish hospitals would train their doctors on empathy, courtesy and care. One would think these would be qualities expected of every physician but apparently some are just in the profession for the big paychecks.

It was my first visit with Dr. Adelman and it will be last. I can’t believe how mean and hypocrite a doctor can be. Even 0 is too much for him. It was a video visit because of the pandemic. At the beginning he listened at my concern – I’ve been in this condition for more than 1 year and a half and all specialists directed me to neurologist, since there was nothing wrong in their fields. Suddenly in the middle, Dr. Adelman said that my family doctor will follow up with me and disconnected the call. He was my last hope to be diagnosed, to be given the right medications and for someone professional to explain what I have. No word, no understanding, no prescription, no attention. After waiting a week, I understood that Dr. Adelman didn’t give her any instructions. I assume, he realized that I am not a profitable patient. Later I found out in my insurance book of providers that he was listed under Neurologist, Psychiatrist and Psychologist! It is a shame for this profession. Dr. Adelman very good, very thoughtful, very kind. Manager of the office is rude and threatening with too much power. Really like Dr but cannot deal with Manager. Wrote this 2 weeks ago but they seem to remove the reviews that they do not like.

I have been going to Dr. Adelman since 1992 when I was referred by the DR at Paoli Hospital. He's been treating my migraines all these years. Always open to hearing info that I read about it heard about. When I first started seeing him I said I thought my headaches were weather related (this was before anyone thought that weather was a trigger) and he believed me. My primary told me there was no research showing weather triggered migraines and just blew me off, but Dr. Adelman was open to my comments. After all, who should know my headaches butter than me? His office staff was consistent for about 5 years, but since then they seem to get younger and younger and worse and worse. I find it you are just friendly to them you get better results. I find myself talking to Dr. Adelman about other health issues I have and he has helped me get better treatment than my primary doc. I don't know what I'm going to do when he retires! We are the same age, so I hope he hangs in there as… long as I do!

HE SHOWED NOTHING BUT KINDNESS & TRUE CONCERN

I found Dr. Adelman to be very thoughtful when approaching my complaint. He looked at me when he spoke instead of his computer. He had reviewed my records prior to seeing me, so he understood what had already been tried by other doctors.

Haven't seen Phil in years when he was affiliated with Phoenixville Hospital and PMA Medical Specialists. Helped me though chronic issues from three strokes.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Adelman and his nurse practictioner. This wonderful doctor took me after his office had closed and fit me in because I had the worst migraine ever. Dr. Adelman cares about his patients and went above and beyond to help me. The best neuroligist I have ever met. Thank you Dr. Adelman for all that you did for me. .

rude and unprofessional

I saw dr. Edelman because the other doctors I was seeing left his practice. When I first met with I found him nice and wanted to help when I left he said call if you have any problems about 4 wks later had a problem called him 8 days straight won't return a call. it's been about to months since the first visit and he still as contact me so now I moved on to another doc.
