Dr. Philip Joseph Citek, MD

This Doctor is very likely the worst excuse for a Doctor I have ever met. No bedside manner, rude, short, no explanation of procedures/exam, no effort to not cause more pain, no care for his own appearance, doesn't wear gloves, didn't pay attention to the answers he was given to questions asked and certainly not worth his copay. He nor staff wore masks. Waste of time and insurance money. Don't send anyone to him. I am likely going to file a complaint with the medical board and my insurance company.

My wife was a returning patient to Dr. Citek. I went in with her because his bedside manner was always extremely poor and she has social phobia. She walked into the office and tried to sign in, he snatched the sign in sheet out of her hands and yelled at her that she wasn't his patient. When I stood up and said we had a referral and an appointment he told me they had other patients and we would just have to wait. We showed up 20 minutes early to give us time to fill out any paperwork, I had to argue with him just to get the sign-in sheet for her. By this time she was in tears and so upset she chose to leave and not receive any treatment for her chronic pain. I have never been so disgusted and angry with someone in my life. If I could give him 0 stars I absolutely would, I filed a complaint via my insurance company on the way home.

My spouse has been a patient for years of Dr. Citik. My spouse gets severe anxiety before most if the monthly apptments. Dr. Citik is very condescending, talks down to me; and I'm just the spouse I go for emotional support for my spouse. Dr. Citik is rude. Never says hello. Laughs at myself and my spouse. Tells my spouse that he looks like a drug addict. So much more.im sure by reading theses other reviews that most ppl can relate to what I'm saying.. he threatened bodily harm to my spouse. It was like being in the twilight zone. I felt like I needed him to write me a prescription for the pain I endured at this appt. A Dr. Who mocks and laughs at his patients in pain. Bravo Dr. Citik. Pat yourself on the back. It's obvious you're very unhappy with the profession you've chosen. You should be ashamed if the way you treat ppl. My spouse tries to talk to you and your so unfriendly even your office staff tells you to stop..

This man has got to be the most disgusting excuse of a doctor or a person in general. He is rude to all patients except a very few "chosen" ones. He is demeaning, insulting, despicable, rude, thinks he is a god, insults you in thee room and never closes the door so that all staff and patients can hear him put you down like you're a nothing! I could not believe what I saw and heard, then he did the same thibg to me at my very first visit before even talkibg to me! I'm reporting him to the medical board and I suggest everyone else that is unhappy with him do the same. This man is a pig! A dirtbag! Scum of the earth! I've met some gross people in my life, but he tops them all! Wow... Unreal.

If u like hostel if you don't care about your own medical, if u don't mind that the chart does not reflect your medical needs, if u don't care how he and his staff treats u.. then by all means go see him

I'm a patient in chronic pain and have been on the same medication for years due to numerous surgeries. I started seeing dr Cetik three months ago and it's been a horrible experience. He recently told me to leave his office and would not refill my medication due to his own mistakes. How can a human being, let alone a doctor, treat another so badly by leaving them sick and in pain. This doctor could care less about you especially if you're not a candidate for pain pumps and/or spine stimulation. He did nothing for me but give me my medication and argue with me leaving me with anxiety. I'm in pain but i would rather lay here in pain than to be treated so badly by dr Cetik.

Dr. Citek has always listens to me and addresses my concerns immediately he follows up and I never have to ask twice and, if a staff member overlooks something he will take immediate action he responds to me directly and I feel like a person not a chart number I have been a patient for a year and happy with the care I received from him.

He seems "proud" of the fact that he has no bedside manner. As a long time patient (unfortunately there are few choices for PM Drs. On the central coast) I simply shut my mouth and try not to annoy this poor excuse for Dr. He does't even make eye contact and if asked to explain what was meant by his often sarcastic replies talks down to you repeating THE SAME THING again........if you ctan hold on to your self esteem and put up with an emotionally abusive Dr. once a month then by all means see him. Have a therapist handy, you'll need one on hand if you choose to see him for any length of time.
