This was my 2nd visit to see Dr. Halsted. His office is well lit and the entire staff is extremely professional and caring. Dr. Halsted is very detailed and has showned a great deal of interest in my overall health. I would recommend family & friends to his practice

I made an appointment to get a referral to two specialist as I am a military retiree and TRICARE (my insurance) requires that your PCP make the referrals for you. His staff has no clue on how to file a referral/authorization to TRICARE which is only the biggest insurance company in the area due to the military in the area. The staff is very unprofessional and rude to patients who have any issues. Dr. Halstead seemed nice enough, but really does not have a very good beside manner. Highly suggest that you find a doctor's office that is professional and keeps up with modern technology such as how to use a computer for making on-line referrals. they still want to fax everything delaying appointments for the patients when they can enter them on-line.

I'm a bit disappointed. I've never ever been to a doctor when sick where they didn't examine my body. He never examined my abdomen, throat, ears or any place on my body and I'm pretty sick with lots of issues. I guess he leaves it all up to the labs.

Dr. Halstead is a very nice doctor. I had a NP before and she didn't have bed side manners. He does! He has a busy practice but gives you all ...
