Dr. Phillip Rhys Say, MD

Incompetent. I've had a horrible sore throat for a year and it's getting worse to the point I am having trouble breathing and swallowing. It's red. Visibly red. MRIs and CT scans taken and read by other doctors have seen a nodule and a mass in between my thyroid and hyoid bone. An ENT in Oregon SHOWED me a polyp on my vocal chords via scope and projector. Dr. Say "doesn't see anything". At all, apparently. A PA at an urgent could tell my throat is messed up. It's getting to the point I can barely move my tongue. He has done nothing. He can't remember my chart and how long my throat has been sore, but he sure can recall that I'm a medicaid patient... Bonus: I pointed to the lymph node right behind the corner of the jaw and said "This gland hurts when my ear pain starts" (yes, it was a lymph node, but I'm not a doctor). Dr. Say said "There's no gland there, that's a muscle." No. No, it very much wasn't a muscle.

I was suddenly afflicted with a rare and new-ish condition, BMS. My dentist, primary and others had never heard of it. Nothing on computer at that time. Dr. Say knew what it was, properly medicated, and made my life bearable again. Also, he's likeable and kind. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant with expertise in treating BPPV, my diagnosed condition. Other questions remain regarding 'why' on my condition besides Vertigo. Mainly allergies or ? Prescribed a nasal spray but no other medications or suggestions to remedy or treat my bronchial congestion and cough.

Dr. Say is a knowledgeable, caring doctor. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone.

I work in healthcare myself and really know what to look for in a provider. Dr. Say is courteous, professional, and takes time to get to the bottom of the issues. I highly recommend him without hesitation. I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of his care and would feel confident recommending him to family/friends .
