Dr. Phoebe Ming Lu, MD

Not sure what happened with other reviewers..my experience was entirely positive. Dr Lu was excellent and very thorough. I never felt rushed. Front desk staff was highly efficient and the assistant in the room was also very professional. I had gone to Dr. Lu on the recommendation of a friend and I was very pleased.

I have treated at Advanced Dermatology before but this was my first visit with Dr. Lu. From start to finish I was pleased with my experience. The front desk staff was very helpful from making my appointment to checking in when I got there. The wait time was not long at all and both Dr. Lu and her assisting nurse were very kind and made me feel comfortable during my visit. Dr. Lu identified several issues, explained them and treated them telling me what she was doing every step of the way.

Although I wasn't necessarily presenting with a disease or problem, I did have several questions about my hair loss and Dr. Lu couldn't have spent more than 3-4 minutes with me. She was edging towards the door with her hand on the handle while I was still asking questions, then wrote me a prescription without explaining what it was. I had to ask for further clarification from the nurse that later came in. Overall, the visit was extremely rushed and I left with no more clarity than when I entered.

Front desk person who helped me was extremely rude! No greeting, no eye contact, did not want to talk, for a while I thought she could not talk! When I finished payment, I said "thank you", she had no response! I am physician myself, no been treated like this!
