Let me be a part of your healthcare team to help you achieve a healthier and happier life!
What would you like people to know about you as a physician/provider?Having served 11 years as an Army Physician with both US and European experience, I have many perspectives that make me a unique physician. Having to live a disciplined life in the Army, I definitely walk the talk in terms of helping my patients choose the right healthy …lifestyle. Furthermore, as an osteopathic physician, you will find that I also provide hands-on healing to help your body heal itself more so than ordering medications.
What do you enjoy most about working with patients?I enjoy hearing about my patient's work, life goals, and achievements. I also love to listen to my patient's passions. That way, I know exactly why their health is important to them.
How does your work improve lives?Patient-centered medical care allows me and the entire medical team to help patients with burdening chronic illnesses and those without to stay healthy so that they can continue to pursue what's important to them.
What are some interesting facts about you?I love to do woodworking as a hobby taking pride in upcycling wood scraps. I also enjoy Archery and tending to my food forest!
With what community and volunteer organizations are you involved?Brandon Woodworkers Club
Would you like to share about your family?I have 2 fun daughters who I look forward to playing with and holding. I have a very supportive wife who makes a lovely home life. I am also lucky to live close with my parents who immigrated from Vietnam in the early 80's.
What (positive) childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?A family physician in Hawaii was the person who inspired me before grade school to become a physician. He would often teach me medicine-based science at the level that I could understand while I was in his office influencing me to seek a career in medicine!
What else would you like to share?I love to talk about exercise and how to grow your own food. You may hear often about self-sufficiency with my style of medicine and I hope you find a way to incorporate it into your healthy lifestyle!

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews.
