I really wanted to like Phyllis but she’s just like every other women's doctor I’ve been to: taking advantage of people to make money. Sadly I was referred by Kimberley Adkins of UMD Medical Systems, who said great things of her. I specifically scheduled for an annual interested in birth control. Somehow that translated to a “problem visit” where my “anemia was being evaluated”. There was no evaluation of my anemia (since it was already in my records from Adkins). I only mentioned it because that and heavy bleeding were why I was interested in birth control. Phyllis went through my medical history, which you have to do before you take birth control. I called the billing department and the lady said that there was no mention of it being an “annual”, even though I had a pap smear done. I get that you’re hungry for money, but don’t take advantage of someone who already had a miserable experience with a Gyno by making it another miserable experience. I plan to call once more tomorrow to… fight this. Either way, it gave me bad taste and I won’t be returning. You can’t charge someone $250 for an annual and birth control. That’s not cool! I’ll be sharing this experience with Adkins.

Very thorough, very clear communication, excellent explanations, answers questions thoroughly, spends time to ensure that we have no unanswered questions before leaving, very knowledgeable & experienced, doesn't do more than necessary. Handled cooperative surgery with another doctor and made sure all details were properly covered for both procedures. We have a very high level of trust in Dr Campbell.

She is very matter-of-fact but takes your concerns seriously and actively participates in preventative care.
