Phyllis Pinard

My experience with Dr. Phyllis Pinard from December 2021 to May 2025 was appalling and deeply damaging. For over three years, she prescribed me strong psychiatric medications (Alprazolam, Escitalopram, Hydroxyzine, Seroquel)—then, at a critical moment, completely abandoned her responsibilities as a doctor and as a human being. When the courts needed her participation for a workers’ comp case directly related to the treatment she provided, Dr. Pinard refused to cooperate or even show up for a deposition. She used the excuse that I was no longer her patient—even though she had managed my medication and care up to that point. This wasn’t just irresponsible; it was blatantly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of integrity. What’s worse, she terminated my care with zero warning, no referrals, no help finding another provider, and no regard for how suddenly losing psychiatric support would affect me. She effectively cut me off and left me alone during a mental health crisis. It was… cruel, cold, and reckless. Dr. Pinard does not display even the most basic compassion required for her profession. In my case, her decisions felt rooted in self-interest and avoidance of responsibility, not in patient care. She should not be trusted with vulnerable people, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for mental health support. I was left feeling devastated, alone, and treated as nothing more than a case she could drop when it no longer suited her. This is the worst doctor experience I have ever had.

Only interested in money and medications. Rolled her eyes in front of the child when she brought the parent in room for a moment. I took my child elsewhere and was absolutely fine and has been for years. I shudder to think of what might have been staying with this woman. Do not bring your child to her.
