I have never in my life seen such a rude doctor before. From when we came in to the time we left it was as if we were sitting with the devil’s secretary or even the devil him self. I can also see here other parents had the same experience as me by being cut off while talking also making us call our Other doctors during the appointment. Another thing she already had all our information yet every time she asked us if that was correct or such she would tell us no your wrong. I understand confirming with the parents on past appointments but telling us we are wrong, now that’s not right. Making us feel such as we did something wrong. Told us that our child needs to go to a bunch of other doctors because she needs lots of help because she doesn’t look responsive even though my kid was well behaved and was responding well with her and doing her tasks 100%. People come into get help for their child and leave feeling ashamed that’s not right. I should be able to walk in there and have a… conversation like adults (which also I’m paying for this service) not as parent child. Go in and come out with solid answers, a good experience, and wanting to go back to get more help. But not for this doctor no way not a chance. I’ll take my money and daughter else where for the time I spent there.

I wish I had never taken my son to this doctor. I wish I had read the reviews here before I decided to make an appointment with her. All the negative reviews I read here were exactly the same as what I experienced today. She is so rude and does not listen at all. I felt like I was being interrupted all the time. She asked me questions but interrupted me without even getting my answers. There's a lot more that I experienced today at her office in St.Joseph Hospital. She makes you feel even worse, so negative and angry. You feel like you're being interrogated and she never gets satisfied with your answers (if she lets you talk). I wish I could give a negative star but I can't . I have a lot of concerns about my son and couldn't even express myself, she did not let me explain his situation. All she did was asking questions about his pediatric history. I didn't have any reports with me and she used it as an excuse and wanted me to bring them next time with me. Not a chance! I'll never… ever see or go even nearby her office. I'm not recommending her to anyone. Please do yourself a favor, and find your child another doctor. That's what I'm going to do.

Today was my first appointment, and dreaded every second. . right away questioning me why are you here, because my doctor referred me. I began to express my concerns as she basically shouted over me, asking me to get my Pediatrcian on the phone as to why I am there. Listen doctor it was no field trip for me to have a busy morning to rush over to you, for. 3 hour appointment.She is very rude, and shows no empathy . She shouted at my 4 year old for asking me a question while she was speaking. Asked questions about my ivf I wasn’t quite sure of, and actually said ”you seem like a smart lady why wouldn’t you be sure” Which I felt was kind of an insult. insinuated I was a bad parent because my twins had light bald spots on the back of their heads. I was so offended with that one. (I carry and play with my babies doctor) she asked to see me in another 3 months. . Not a chance to women.. I would actually like to report you. Very un professional. I left a lot of hints you will know exactly who… I am.

Dr Patel has horrible bedside manner. I have a child who is autistic and her demeanor does not go well with a parent who is struggling to help their child. You can see the frustration and hear the irritability in her tone of voice. She does not show any form of empathy. Please find yourself another doctor who will at least show you as a parent that they’re willing to help.

She is okay but still having trouble as to why my son is still going though what he's going though

I brought my teenage son to Dr. Patel for an evaluation. Dr. Patel's knowledge and experience was extremely helpful to us. We only saw her for two visits but the time she spent with me and my son was very productive. Her questions and testing were straightforward and she gave my son some very good advice. She also followed up with a complete written report of my son and her findings which was helpful to have a record of. I believe that Dr. Patel truly cares about her patients and I would go to her again if needed. My son liked her too and he thought she was kind and easy to talk to.

The best! She actually sent us a detailed letter after the visit. She cares.

Dr Patel is a wonderful, caring person who takes the time to listen to your concerns. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

I found the doctor was very kind to my child. She spoke to her in calm, reassuring tones; however, I question her blanket denial of certain diagnoses and a lack of personal attention to her hygiene was a bit disturbing. She appeared unkempt, her lab coat was stained and appeared to not have been washed for some time. My daughter had a previous diagnosis from one of Dr. Patels colleagues at her practice. Without any actual testing,Dr. Patel refused to accept the diagnosis her own colleague had arrived at and insisted this could not be correct. She failed to consult her colleague or offer any testing to confirm or deny her conjecture. We will have to seek another doctor to treat my child.
