Dr. Pradeep Panuganti, MD

Dr. Panuganti completely dismissed my case. He assured me that I did not have Muscular Sclerosis. He observed me ordering food from the menu, and stated that I obviously wasn't in severe pain or dysfunction. He told me that there "are not scientific tests that exist to determine what you have." He told me what I had was a neurological condition that was idiopathic. He sent me home with an anti-seizure drug. (even though I told him I was breastfeeding, and a baby can't have it.) Weeks later, my symptoms were far more severe. I was diagnosed with an extremely rare and dangerous condition named Transverse Myelitis. The physical damage done to my nerves is far greater as a result of his medical negligence to even bother to run further tests. (I had a spine specialist who ordered spine MRIs with contrast, and who ultimately identified Transverse Myelitis lesions in my neck and thoracic spine.) This doctor has horrendous bedside manner, dismissed my medical history, and gave… assurances about my health that were completely incorrect. If you ever have a neurological medical emergency in the Dallas area, go directly to UT Southwestern on Harry Hines Blvd. Do not hesitate. This guy almost cost me my mobility as a new mom.
