Dr. Prashant Barakoti, MD

I was looking in basic care for my pre-existing conditions. I had just had a baby and was in a vulnerable place in life. He offered to perform pelvic and breast exams, even though obstetrics is not his field of medicine. I really had to argue with him to get him to stop insisting on these examinations. After he learned that I had a mole removed over 5 years ago, he practically demanded to examine my naked body for potential skin cancer. Again, dermatology is not his field of medicine. I've never felt so violated by a physician in my life. I was scared to return to the office to seek medical care but I couldn't get another civilian dr referral, through tricare.

Since I've been under Dr. Barakoti's care. I have received the best information on what I need to do to take care of myself. He listens all so well and your not treated like a number. I've had several illnesses and I owe my recovery to First....the Good Lord for blessing Dr Barakoti with his wisdom of medicine that he has restored over and over my health. I told him that I have shared with my family and friends how I can be down a day or two. But after a visit with him....I'm feeling so much better. Dr. Prashant....I "THANK YOU" SO MUCH! Your Patients and I are truly blessed for all you do!
