Dr. Pratik Prakashchan Desai, MD

Dr. Desai replaced both knees in 2017, five months apart. I never had any pain from either operation. He is an excellent surgeon. Just wish he did spinal surgery!

Dr Desai did a total revision on my wife's left knee. It went perfectly and to her surprise there was almost no pain. Several months later the right knee also needed surgery. By then we had moved to Tampa so we chose a surgeon there. This time things went badly. The joint was too flexible and she wasn't able to walk correctly for a year. When she had healed sufficiently we had the knee redone by Dr. Desai back in Orlando. Again, perfect joint alignments and a great job. Although my wife is undergoing PT, she walks with hardly a limp. Dr, Desai is the greatest.

Dr Desai, ego is so big the he has lost his human touch, been in pain and numbnes after a surgery procedure for most then 7 month to been told I need to get over it when my leg grew weak, im in constant pain and my foot is numb, but he is a bully and he know he made a mistake but won't fix it. stay away from this Dr Desai

Dr. Desai did my total hip replacement 2 months ago. Since my 3rd week after surgery I have had no pain or discomfort. I can now walk 2 miles a day which is something I have not been able to do for 2 years. He does a great job explaining things so you and your family understand what is going on.

I can't say enough great things about Dr Desai. My hip replacement was practically painless. Kind, caring, answered all my questions and concerns. Would not hesitate to have my other hip replaced if necessary. Thank you, Doc

Dr. Desai was recommended to me for a total kneee replacement. He was caring and skilled and I had a wonderful result with both knees. I did have a little scare and thought I needed to see the doctor and he made sure I could get right in.
