Dr. Praveen B Gupta, MD

this Dr was very rude , and doesn't spend time with her patient although i was very sick + it was my first pregnancy , she never care how much i m suffering .. i am a nurse and i have never seen an unprofessional doctor like her .. please don't Goooooooooooooo

I have seen dr. praveen Gupta for the past 3 yeasr for abnormal bleeding and fibroids and since i've been going to her my problem is under control. It requires follow up visits every 6 months to check the size of my fibroids and im self insured as you might imagine my insurance doesnt pay for most of my medical bills but dr. Gupta tries to do the most important test needed for me so i dont spend money on unnecessary on testings. Im glad to have dr. gupta as my GYN doctor she's gives straight answers, honest and most important knows what she's doing. Prices are reasonable, so if my insurance does'nt cover its no ones fault.... it is what it is and if i have to pay i'll pay.... its only for my own health.

Was disappointed with both the doctor and the staff members. They made me come back twice for a simple ultrasound and blood test.and each time they charged me. It has been 9 months I till did not receive my reports. They try to make a fool of us and make as much money as possible by scaring us.

I had to bear her throughout my pregnancy and delivery and I can say that I am shocked I survived it. Yes, she is a very experienced doctor, but, she doesnt make any woman feel comfortable or at ease. All through my pregnancy she was there momentarily did few baby heartbeat checkup and vanished to check patients in other rooms. She was never available to answer any questions. For all questions I had to ask the nurse and she would respond to them. Even during the last stage of pregnancy she was not available for any queries. Even postpartum checkups were bad. Waits are long even after appointments. The staff follows up...but only if you didnt make a payment!!!

Dr. Gupta is money hungry and doesnt care more about patients or their babies than she does about getting money. I was going to her since I was 5 months, when I found out I was pregnant, and without Insurance, she charged me a high visit fee $75.00 and $200.00 per ultrasound. Then when I became 8 months pregnant she refused to schedule an appointment for regular office visit unless I came up with $2,500.00 cash. She waited until near delivery to spring this on me, and wouldnt work with me regarding these rediculous fees.So instead of caring about the condition of the baby in the most important time, she refused to accept another $75.00 cash to check on my health and the babys health.

No personalty, no bedside manner, no interest in what you are saying, does not see you as a person with knowledge of your own body. Office staff is nice enough

I strongly agree with other comments. Do not go with her. She is a money sucker.This Dr. masks as a friendly person at the first consultation, but after she becomes truly rude to me by saying that "You do not understand anything what I am going to say, because You do not have any knowledge of (medical terminology or procedure)!" Thanks for saying that but I am an RN. Many great Dr. always explain well with 10th grade terminology to make all patients understand easier, but this unprofessional woman does not have any knowledge of !! Additionally, her Indian rapid English w/ STRONG ACCENTS make you much harder to communicate with the Dr.

See all the other comments.It was not a pleasant experience.Condescending, demeaning, does not listen, does not treat you like an adult. There are plenty of other doctors out there, stay far away from Gupta.

I agree with all the negative comments, as I had the exact same experience. Find another doctor if you want to feel cared for and have all your questions answered.

This docor was awful! She seemed rushed the entire time I was in her office. I had to pry answers out of her because her hand was literally on the door handle the entire time because she was already ready to go! Annnnd, I had to hunt HER down to get a prescrpition from her! Then, 3 months later I get a $200 bill when I paid $75 for the office visit. Horrible horrible service that took almost $300 out of my pocket. Don't waste your money on this doctor. You can get much better service from a doctor that actually cares. It'll probably be much cheaper too!
