Dr. Priti Duggal

Dr. Duggal was very condescending and dismissive of my health concerns. Her solution for all health concerns (mental, chronic, or otherwise) is to lose weight. If she does prescribe a medication and it doesn’t work she refuses to try other methods. Overall terrible and destructive experience being told your anxiety and depression is because you’re overweight and it is not an actual disorder that needs to be addressed.

Dr. Duggal was my new Dr. a few months ago after finding out my new, great Dr. was moving to a practice too far away for me to travel to her. Dr. Dugal is so very thorough, reading my entire chart and recommending tests only if I agree. She asked on more than occassion if it would be alright if we tried something new, or different and if I was no ok with it, we could switch paths. This is such a good way to deal with patients, I adore her! She recommended 2 tests, but I balked saying my deductible is so very high. She asked, "how about we do one test this year and one next?", to try and save me money- perfect solution!! She is very quick to answer any questions I have either by calling in to talk to her nurse(s), who are very good also, to answering my MyChart questions! Cannot say enough good things about her!!! I mentioned to my son that I had to find a new Dr. and how good she is, he commented that when he lived in Topeka, she was his Dr. and how he felt the same way I do… about her care and personality.

I had to leave the state for over a year but now am back and one of the great things about coming back is getting to see Dr. Duggal again. She listens. She is spot-on with comments and diagnoses and all her recommendations have proved helpful. Plus--she's a genuine human being, not aloof as so many medical people are.

This doctor's nurse Alicia is rude and sarcastic - and she delivers message from the Doctor that is rude and sarcastic.
