Dr. Priya Vaidyanathan, MD

Dr. Vaidyanathan herself was ok. Nothing too impressive, however our overall experience with Children's was absolutely terrible. It took over a month for the staff to get back to me after our visit (after multiple calls) about pre-authorization for my son's blood work. After that was finally resolved, they sent the prescription for the blood work to the wrong address which was put in their computer (they had my drivers license to copy it from so I have no idea how they put it in wrong). Then when we went to get the blood work at the outpatient center we were told no one was there to draw his blood, even though we had called ahead and were told someone would be there. We then had to go to the main hospital (an hour and a half from our house) to have the blood work. There they were so unfriendly. They never even checked my son's identity with the lab order. After waiting a month for the results (I was told the doctor would send them if they were ok, and call me if they were not)… I had to start the phone calls again. When I finally did speak to the doctor, she had said she did not know his blood work was back, and the results are inconclusive at this time. She had said she would send me a copy as well. That was over 3 weeks ago, and surprise I still haven't seen a copy. I have been calling again for the past week. No one has returned my calls and I still haven't received a copy. I would not recommend going to Children's, the doctor was ok, but I still don't have an answer and had quite the hassle to deal with.
