I used Dr. Matthews for a two rectal fissure repair surgeries with surprise hemorrhoid repairs as well. He listened to me by not fully cutting the sphincter muscle because I feared incontinence. His bedside manners were amazing. He prayed with me and was very comforting. This doctor not only listens but is informative and willing to weigh out any option. My results were better than I expected. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone!

I was having surgery for colon cancer. I'm very young in my early 30's. Dr. Matthews has great bedside manner and is really caring when it comes to his patients. The day of surgery I was nervous and crying he came over to me and he prayed with me and I felt at ease about the surgery. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Matthews is very experienced and has a great bedside manner. I strongly suggest using him for any surgery. He did a wonderful job with my gallbladder and appendix removal. There was little to no pain in recovery and I was able to return to work within two weeks. Thank you Dr. Matthews!
