Dr. Rachel Marie Gilbert, MD

Rachel M. Gilbert should not be a practicing doctor. She has displayed complete negligence on taking care of a pregnant mother. Her inability to care for a patient was evident after a so called D&C was performed and her lack of honesty about performing the procedure was horrific. This doctor has cause so much unnecessary trauma to this patient it is unconscionable.

I really like Dr. Gilbert's knowledge and explanations, she does a great job with that. Her surgical skills are excellent. As with many in this field, it is often times difficult to get in for an immediate appointment though, which can be frustrating sometimes, especially with post-op appointments, even if there is nothing suspected as being wrong, it is nice to know all went well. I've had a couple surgeries, and a dnc with Dr. Gilbert, and am very very satisfied with her skills and manner.

After my cesarean section, this "doctor" failed to treat the infection I was given by the operation. Incompetent, negligent and arrogant. If you're looking for a doctor that cannot help you with a complication, go to her. If you're looking for an intelligent and caring physician, avoid her like the plague! My experience with her left me with cellulitis, a staph infection, and 12 weeks of home health care. Please, find someone else, unless you can guarantee yourself an uncomplicated birth/delivery.
