Dr Sharlene P Kreitlow, MD

I have seen Kreitlow for 19 years. She has delivered 5 of my children, and the only reason the other two weren’t delivered by her was due to her relocating. I have always been in good hands. I would not see another OB unless I had to. She’s stern, and that shows me she cares, not that she’s rude. After one of the births of my babies, I was in the recovery room with everything previously going smoothly. I started to feel as if needed to push. Something didn’t feel right. The nurses called Dr. Kreitlow and she advised them that they needed to push on my stomach and try to see if there were any clots. They did what was asked and did in fact release a small one and they informed Kreitlow I was fine. Before Dr. Kreitlow went home, she came up to check on me just to make sure I was doing ok. As she walked in, I started to hemorrhage. I needed a transfusion along with surgery. She quickly prepped and urged all nurses and drs needed to hurry. As she only had so long to prep for surgery. Dr.… Kreitlow literally saved my life along with preventing me from having to have a hysterectomy, which has since blessed me with 4 more babies. Are there 2 Dr Sharlene Kreitlows? One review from Aug. 2015 - the Dr I know was living out of the country at that time. I saw Dr Kreitlow for many years and was always pleased with her care.

My fiance had a hysterectomy done by Sharlene. It was the worst experience ever for my fiance. After the surgery my fiance complained that something was not right multiple times to her. After being on blood transfusions multiple times and five days later, she was sent home to rest for another 2 weeks. While Sharlene reassured us that she just needs rest to heal. We ended up seeing a Dr. in Eau Claire that ended up doing a second surgery right away to fix what Sharlene messed up. After a few days of the second surgery my fiance was finally recovering. Since then we are now planning on having a 3rd surgery to fix all the scarred tissue that is now causing more pain from this woman. She needs her licence taken away before she hurts any more people. on a side note.... researching more on Sharlene, she graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin ranked 51st overall. I wish we did our research before seeing this so called Dr.

Not a good doctor! She doesn't care about here patients one bit. She is quick to write off any questions or concerns in addition to making you feel stupid for having these questions or concerns. Also, she doesnt spend much time with you during the appointment and doesn't check into any of your medical background let alone remember what medicine she has prescribed to you when she can clearly see who did right on here laptop that she is holding in here lap! GET A SECOND OPINION IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO HER!! You'll be thankful you did!

I have been to Dr. Kreitlow a few times. She seems very nice and friendly. Her nurse is not especially friendly and seems focused only on tasks. I needed followup on one of my issues and basically had to insist on it. I was also prescribed a new medication and not given important information about it. On a subsequent visit, the doctor questioned why I was on this medication (when she was the one who prescribed it to me!). She also made me feel kind of stupid at times when I would ask questions.

This Doctor is not a good option for me because she didn't really listen to me or follow up with me after surgery. She lacks concern overall. Seems to be there to simply do a job.
