Dr. Rachel Labovitz, MD

Could not have made a better choice of doctor. She takes her time to diagnose my problems, but does not waste mine. Useing compassion and knowledge not often found, making me grateful for selecting her.

She rushes through appointment, when you can get one. Will reschedule your appointment without notifying you. Doesn’t fully listen to patients, makes assumptions about what you might say, takes forever to get back to you, puts you off when call about serious side effects you are have to medications she proscribes, and has started talking to me about something I didn’t and still don’t have. Would suggest not go to her unless it’s a last resort.

Dr. Labovitz and Timothy Stanhope, CRNP are a fabulous team. I have always felt that they both listen intently and care deeply about their patients. Our whole family now uses them!

Neither Dr. Labowitz nor her associate NP should be allowed to practice medicine. She is fortunate she has never been sued. That may be about to change.

Exceeded all of my expectations in time spent and quality of care. I have used My UAB Medicine portal as the primary means of communication and she is quick to respond to any of my concerns. I would recommend her to others

This doctor is rushed when you visit her and hard to get an appointment. She has no bedside manner, does not follow up after visits. The nurse does not return calls in a timely matter. I have waited for a week for her to return my call. I will not recommend Dr. Labovitz to anyone.
