Rachel Scheeres, DO

Dr. Rachel Scheeres is a board-certified family medicine physician, originally from Grand Rapids, MI. She studied public health at Calvin College, then graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023. She completed her family medicine residency at Corewell Health Lakeland in 2026. During her training, she developed her passion for practicing medicine in small-town communities.
In her practice, she enjoys seeing all ages and managing a variety of medical conditions with a patient-centered mindset. She prioritizes prevention, lifestyle management, patient education, and building strong relationships with her patients. With each interaction, she hopes her warm nature allows every patient to feel comfortable and listened to.
While outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, camping, reading, playing board games, crocheting, playing with her cats, and spending time with her husband and family. She wants to work on improving her cooking and carpentry skills, …as well as try mountain biking.
