Shawn Palmer, PA-C

I am from a small town in Southeastern Idaho and loved growing up in the mountains with a wonderful family. After high school, I served a church mission to Brazil for 2 years, then attended undergraduate school in Rexburg, at BYU-Idaho. At some point, I had to figure out what to do for a career and finally settled on Physician Assistant. My wife and I moved to Philadelphia where I attended PA school at Salus University, and returned to the west after graduating. We have 4 young children, and we love them so much that we keep them around, even when they are throwing fits. We are always busy in church, school, and other community activities and love our adventures together. When we get the chance, we love to camp, fish, ski, and go to Disneyland!

I decided to be a PA because I enjoy helping people. I enjoy primary care and getting to know individuals and their families, and working with them to help improve their lives.

The only good thing about being sick is it helps us remember how …nice it is not to be sick. Health is so precious a thing, we must do more to maintain it.
