Dr. Rachna Gadhok, MD

Exceptionally compassionate and kind. She took time to listen and understand the root cause of my medical issues. I was under her care for 3 years untill she relocated from the practice and I miss her kind care.

Does she know what she's doing? Yes. Does she talk down to you and treat you like your some sort of moron and act like she's doing you this huge favor by treating you..Bigger yes

I booked my physical check up appointment 3 months in advance. I was in Evergreen Hospital Kirkland for first time it was pretty hard to find parking there. I reached reception 6 minutes later than my check-in time. Receptionist told me she need to check with doctor if she can take me. It is hospital policy to accept patient till 10 minutes later than check-in time. However, receptionist said she still need to check with doctor. When receptionist returned after 10 minutes, she said doctor can't accept you because you are 11 minutes late instead of 10. I was shocked, i was 6 minutes late and it was receptionist who took another 2-3 minutes to reach to doctor. I have a special daughter who I can't leave with nanny. My husband took a day off on that day so that he can take care of our daughter and i can attend my appointment. I tried to explain to receptionist and asked her to explain to doctor that how hard it is for me to come for my doctor appointments. But receptionist mentioned,… doctor has said she has more patients to see and you need to reschedule. I escalated this till Evergreen Hospital management and they assured to take suitable action. However, my husband's 1 day off got ruined and I needed to reschedule my appointment. This time I rescheduled with another doctor. I would never want to see a doctor who can't understand patients and don't accept the truth that patient can be right (I was 6 minutes late which was under 10 minutes hospital policy).

I have been her patient for past 3 years and I am glad to have her as my doctor. She is very easy going and compassionate. she gives clear instructions which are easy to follow. She listens to me patiently and even calls me sometimes even late in evening to update me about my results.

I made an appointment to see her because the doctor that I normally see at that clinic was off that day and I really wasn't feeling well for the last week or so. She was very argumentative, interrupting and impatient. She asked me for my symptoms and I was reading a piece of paper that I wrote on because I had quite a few symptoms or ailments that were bothering me. After I mentioned the first four or five symptoms, she interrupted me and said this was not "that kind of a visit." I've never heard that from a doctor before. She thought my list was too long and tried to discourage me from mentioning any other symptoms I had. However me being me, I don't get intimidated or bullied easily and I insisted on finishing mentioning the other symptoms. One of the symptoms I had was hip joint pain which she interrupted me in mid sentence and said this wasn't the time to mention that. She suggested me to schedule another appointment with somebody else to get an x-ray. I told her I didn't think… it was an orthopedic problem but rather something that maybe inter-related to my other symptoms. Instead of patiently listening, she had to argue about so many things. I want to add that I've been to that clinic several times to see Dr. Zubair, who is a very kind, soft-spoken and patient person. Everyone else at that clinic (the nurse, and esp. the receptionist) that I've come across are friendly and pleasant. Needless to say, I regret making an appointment to see her instead of my regular doctor, and I won't make that mistake again.

She listens well and suggests easy and inexpensive solutions to health concerns that come with age. (I'm a healthy 68 year old). Highly recommend.

Dr.Gadhok is an excellent doctor who has the patience to listen to your problem and takes the time to diagnose. She prescribes medicines that are affordable..I have recommended my doc to my friends.
