Dr. Rafael Jacinto Nobo, MD

I am a patient of 20 plus years. I did find a different gyn for a few months in 2018, because my GP DOC retired and the new office suggested a different gyn. I learned my lesson and returned to Dr. Nobo. I love his staff and Dr. Nobo explains my concerns and cares about my health.

My first visit with Dr. Nobo was ok at best. He didn’t seem to acknowledge the exam was hurting me even though I told him it was. The next visit went well and he answered 2 pages of my presurgery questions. The day of surgery I was all prepped and ready to be rolled into operating room but asked him one last time to acknowledge he was only removing fibroids and would leave my uterus. A normal question I thought and the nurses agreed. But he freaked out and started yelling at me, my family and the nurses, accusing me of not trusting him and threatening that with my insurance I’d be lucky if I found another surgeon to perform the operation. He wasn’t going to let me hug my family goodbye before surgery and when I insisted on that he cancelled my much needs surgery because he said he didn’t feel trusted. Totally unprofessional behavior and I’m still traumatized by the way he treated me and everyone else around. Rude, condescending and abusive. I have given a formal written statement to… the director of the hospital to be sure his behavior is on record.
