Dr. Rafael Miguel Ruggieri, MD

Dr. Ruggieri never disclosed to me that I had 2 hernias and only fixed one. I now have to get a 2nd surgery for something that could have been fixed with 1 surgery. He also pushed his hand down my pants and felt around my vagina. He said he was checking for a groin hernia but he had a CT scan in front of him that showed there was no groin hernia, nor did I ever complain of one. He did not tell me ahead of time that he was going to do this.

Two weeks ago, I went to Dr. Ruggieri for pain in my lower abdomen at around noon. By five o'clock that evening, he had removed my appendix. After one week of recovery, I am back to work, feeling great. I've never met a doctor and immediately put all my trust in him/her, (not that I had much of a choice because of the appendicitis), but Dr. Ruggieri made the entire process more comfortable and easier to deal with. Thanks Doc!

My experience with Dr. Rafael Ruggieri and his staff has been outstanding. Dr. Ruggieri listens, cares and takes time for you. He and his staff are professional, informative, personable and responsive. I had my sigmoid colon removed for diverticulitis and had to go in for a breast biopsy 5 months later...With both scary situations, Dr. Ruggieri spent time walking through my conditions and explaining his recommended surgical solutions to my husband and I. He is truly the best! I am thankful for Dr. Ruggieri... I have never felt better!

My husband Eric went in two weeks ago to see Dr. Rafael Ruggieri for a general surgery consult. Eric had a hernia that became inflamed and somewhat emergent over the course of just a few days. Dr. Ruggieri got him in right away, explained in detail what was going on and had him scheduled for surgery for the next day. Two weeks later, my husband is feeling great! Dr. Ruggieri was informative, meticulous in his surgical techniques and has one of the best “bed side manners” of any surgeon we have encountered. He answered any and all questions/concerns we had and took his time making sure we were fully informed and comfortable during this process. Thank you Dr. Ruggieri for taking such great care of Eric! You are an excellent doctor and surgeon; our recommendation for is you!

I didn't get help I needed. He needs to learn more an HS or at least refer me to the dermatologist that he said he would and never did. He put me on really strong antibiotics when the disease I have is not bacterial, more autoimmune, although not very much known on causes and there's no cures. My 1 star rating is bc I need a dermatologist and I need a referral. It's been two months at least and still nothing. I live with the diseases and he wants to tell me I'm all wrong about pretty much everything and then never get me the doc I need. Never again. Now Dr. Morris was awesome though! My mistake for not waiting for him to be able to be back..
